  Tour Itinerary:

  Day 1: Delhi Arrival

Arrival at Delhi Airport. Meet & Greet at the Airport & transfer to Hotel. Delhi is a city built and re-built seven times over several centuries. The capital city today marries the quaint and unique elements of different historical eras with the pace of the bustling, growing economy. At every turn of the road, the past and the present coexist. Later proceed for the city Tour of NEW DELHI - drive past the stately government buildings of the British Era designed by Lutyen's, including the "India Gate" & the "Rashtrapati Bhavan" (Presidential Palace). Continue onto the beautiful "Humayun's tomb" of the Mughal era & thereafter visit the towering minaret of "Qutab Minar". Overnight stay at Delhi.

  Day 2: To Agra

After breakfast, visit to the "Jama Masjid" and "Red Fort". Later drive to Agra (200 kms / 4 hrs). Arrive at Agra and check-in to hotel. Akbarabad, as Agra was known during the Mughal era, is home to some of the most magnificent Mughal architectures. Situated on the banks of river Yamuna, the monumental beauty of Agra has inspired countless people around the world. This third largest city of the state of Uttar Pradesh is home to three UNESCO world heritage sites. Later proceed to visit to the world famous "Taj Mahal" or literally "Crown of Palaces", built by Shah Jahan to immortalize the memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal who died tragically in 1631. After that visit, the Red Fort built by three generations of Mughal Emperors between 1565 and 1573. It housed both the presidential Palaces of the Royal family, and the military quarters. Overnight stay at Agra.

  Day 3: To Gwalior

After breakfast, drive to Gwalior (120 kms / 2 hrs). On arrival check in to hotel. Afternoon visit to the "Gwalior Fort", known as the "pearl amongst fortresses" with its magnificient architecture standing on the steep mass of sandstone, built by Raja Man Singh Tomar in the 15th century. Overnight stay at Gwalior.

  Day 4: To Orchha

Today we will drive to Orccha (120 kms / 3 hrs), town established by the Bundela Rajput Chief Rudra Pratap Singh in 1531. The picturesque royal town, nestled on the banks of river Betwa has one of the most desirable tourist spots. Visit to "Jahangir Mahal", "Raja Mahal", "Chaturbhuj Temple" & "Chattris". Overnight stay at Orchha.

  Day 5: To Khajuraho

Drive to Khajuraho (185 kms / 4 hrs), UNESCO World Heritage Site sheltering many ancient temples and historical places, known for its sensuous stone carvings. On arrival, check-in to hotel. In the afternoon, visit to the "Western Group of Temples" built by the Chandela kings between 950 AD and 1050 AD, which comprise of 14 gorgeous temples, including Matangeshvara, Chausath Yogini, Kandariya Mahadeva, Varaha, Parvati, Lalguan Mahadeva, Lakshmana, Nandi, Chitragupta, and Devi Jagdambi. Optional visit to Khajuraho "Light and Sound show" in the evening (directly payable). Overnight stay at Khajuraho.

  Day 6: To Panna National Park

After breakfast, we will explore the "Eastern Group of Temples" in Khajuraho which houses seven temples. Out of them, three are Hindu temples and four are Jain temples. The name of the seven temples of eastern group includes Vamana, Javari, Parshvanatha, Adinatha, Shantinatha, Ghantai and Brahma temple. The Parshvanatha temple is the largest one among all. In the afternoon, we will head to Panna National Park (1 hr drive). Check in to resort and unwind. Overnight stay at Panna National Park.

  Day 7: To Chitrakoot

Early Morning Safari at Panna National Park. Located in the Vindhyan Hills and declared a tiger reserve in 1994, it is home to large population of animals including tigers, gharial, sloth bear, leopard, sambhar, chital, nilgai and chinkara. After having breakfast at hotel, you can go for an optional visit to Raneh Falls, Ken Gharial Sanctuary and Pandav Falls. We will drive to Chitrakoot (130 kms / 3.5 hrs), associated with the life of Lord Ram. Overnight stay at Chitrakoot

  Day 8: To Prayagraj

Morning visit to the "Gupt Godavari Caves". These caves are beautifully carved from inside with some small temples within. Later we will drive to Prayagraj (135 kms, 3.5 hrs). On arrival, check-in to hotel. Visit to "Triveni Sangam" (Meeting Point) of three rivers - Ganga, Yamuna & Saraswati. The Maha Kumbh Mela is held here every 12 years which is a major Hindu festival. Overnight stay at Prayagraj.

  Day 9: To Varanasi

Morning after breakfast, drive to Varanasi (135 kms, 4 hrs), also known as Benares, a major religious hub in India and the holiest of the seven sacred cities in Hinduism and Jainism. On arrival, check-in to hotel. In the evening, get ready to witness the world famous "Ganga Aarti" Ceremony at Dashashwamedh ghat. Overnight stay at Varanasi.

  Day 10: In Varanasi

Early morning boat ride on the River Ganges where you can get a unique experience of observing the pilgrims taking a dip in the holy river, performing rituals and worshipping the sun. You will go across the prominent ghats of Dashaswamedh Ghat, Manikarnika Ghat, Harischandra Ghat, Kedar Ghat and much more. Later we will visit the "Kasi Vishwanath temple", "Annapurna Devi", "Vishalakshi Devi", "Sankat Mochan", "Durga Kund", "Manas temple" and "Birla temple - BHU". Overnight stay at Varanasi.

  Day 11: Departure

After breakfast, we will visit Sarnath, the place where Lord Buddha delivered his first sermon at Deer Park (Rishipattana). The Tourist Attractions at Sarnath are the "Buddha Temples", "Dhamek Stupa" , "Chaukhandi Stupa" and the "Archaeological Museum".

Later we will leave for Varanasi airport to catch flight back to your destination with memories of a wonderful trip to the Historical Gems of India.
