Established in 1969 as a gyoza specialist, Osaka Ohsho soon garnered a steady following of Japanese diners who grew to love its casual ambience and irresistible dumplings. The menu then evolved to include Japanese-Chinese favorites and today, there are over 300 outlets in Japan, Hong Kong, Thailand, Korea, Singapore, Philippines, and now Myanmar. Osaka Ohsho - which translates to ‘The King of Gyoza in Osaka’ - is the destination of handmade gyoza (dumplings). Out gyoza is a mixture of cabbage, ginger, garlic and pork wrapped in Osaka Ohsho’s special wonton wrapper, then skillfully grilled to a deliciously golden brown crisp on one side yet tantalizingly moist within. Osaka Ohsho’s Gyoza has become our most famous and beloved dish.
